Counsellor, Positive Education consultant & well-being teacher. Sarah supports young people, their families, schools and communities to connect with their own strengths to work through challenges.

Positive psychology & strengths-based approaches. Anxiety – finding practical coping mechanisms to reduce anxiety.

Bringing counselling strategies to all through normalising struggle, support seeking behaviours  & self-regulation.

Practical mindfulness – adapting mindfulness techniques for each person & their context.

Research interests include cyberawareness, technology use/over-use, ability to disconnect & gaming.

Sarah has lived the UK, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India and Singapore, worked and travelled extensively throughout Australia, Asia and the USA. Currently living between the Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley NSW, raising bush kids and renovating a sustainable off- grid shack.

QUALIFICATIONS & MEMBERSHIPS

Sarah has a Masters of Guidance and Counselling, Graduate Certificate in Research (PhD pilot study on Adolescent Use of Technology) and a Bachelor of Education (Human Movement and Health Education, psychology major).

Level 4 Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Member (Level 4 members have min 4 years from their postgraduate qualifications, 1000+ registered counselling hours, 100+ supervision hours and fulfil continuous professional development requirements.)
